Health advocates suggest that that drinking fruit infused water such as lemon water in the morning, helps you reach your optimal health.
Switching your morning coffee for lemon water has many health benefits. I have compiled a list for 10 reasons why drinking lemon water in the morning is beneficial for your health.
1. Nutrient Powerhouse
Lemon water is low in calories, lemons are loaded with several essential nutrients such as vitamin C, B-complex vitamins, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, and fiber.
2. Helps boost your immune system
Vitamin C helps boost your immune system, allowing you to remain sick free, bacterial and infection free.
3. Helps detoxify your body
Everyday we are exposed to harmful chemicals and toxins in the air, the water we consume, and the food to eat. Our body has a natural way of cleansing itself from these toxins but sometimes our body needs a boost from dealing with our daily lives. Lemon juice helps stimulate the liver by boosting it's enzyme functions.

While lemon water seems to be the perfect drink to prevent or cure our daily aches and pains, it is not all wonderful. Lemon juice can be hard on teeth enamel. Therefore, it's important to weaken it with water and rinse your mouth thoroughly with filtered water after drinking lemon juice.
